The Department of Psychology's 2023 Global Health Study Abroad Program in India will help me use the knowledge I will gain from the degree to understand real world health issues.

Mysore: a city located in the southern state of Karnataka, is the ideal location for this program. Included visits to sites of cultural significance (like Mysore Palace, Chamundi Hills, KR Sagar, 12th century temple, and other notable sites) will facilitate our exploration of how cultural values and experiences applies to health understandings. Along with its world famous reputation as the home to Mysore and Ashtanga yoga, Mysore is also located in the state with the leading outsourcing centers in the world for software companies, and health education.
